Idaho Falls Fire Ken Anderson said he is fortunate that no firefighters were injured extinguishing an oil fire large Thursday morning.
Firefighters responded to a fire at 1740 Ave Intermountain Natural S. Yellowstone. at 5:20 Anderson said an employee called in the fire.
Smoke and fire were coming from the roof when the engines arrived at the two-storey prefabricated building trade.
Anderson said the fire was used in a kettle to make jerky animals, which he describes as a "" large popcorn, "" the size of two bathtubs.Oil in the pot caught fire, but Anderson said the firefighters did not know the tank was there.

We have the Hollywood Kettle Popper- got it for Christmas from the grandparents to my 3-year old son. Finally tried to use it tonight. Followed all directions. it was on, plug was in, oil was hot. The only thing that this POS did was burn popcorn and make not even enough to cover the bottom of the drawer after 10 minutes. The kettle wasn’t turning and the popcorn wasn’t popping. This thing had to be the worst piece of junk my family has ever paid 0 for. And of course, because it is over 90 days, Target won’t take it back. This product is a rip-off and my 3-year-old son went into hysterics when it didn’t work the way it was advertised. There was no “hot popcorn BURSTING” through the top of the kettle. There were a few anemic pops, a few burnt kernels and a major letdown for a toddler. My in-laws bought this for us thinking it would be fun. The only thing it’s good for is a paperweight.
