The first thing wrong with the new documentary glorifying the former governor of Alaska Sarah Palin is the title.
"The Undefeated" Palin elevation profiles as a national hero for the tea party, but fails to mention that it was actually fought. Setting aside the presidential race of 2008 where a ticket of his party does not claim the White House, Sarah Palin lost a 2002 GOP primary for lieutenant governor.
The film, which will debut Tuesday in the small town of Pella, Iowa, is a flattering portrait of Sarah Palin as someone not afraid to take on his party boss. There is little doubt Palin, who was not involved in the production of "The Undefeated" will be pleased with the final result. But this is not a good movie.
