I must say he picked a pretty good one. Although it does take a little prep time, for the most part the Deni 5205 Automatic Ice Cream Maker has a lot of positives. It's fairly easy to use and doesn't require ice or rock salt! It's a tremendous help if your ice cream mixture is chilled before you put it into the canister. What's really great is that it has a candy crusher to boot. Uh huh, just pour on the calories, honey.
